The University Policy Register is a compilation of the official university, administrative and operational policies of Kent State University. The purpose of this online register is to serve the university community as a source of reliable information and as a foundation on which decisions can be made.
Contains definitions of terms relevant to the rules of Kent State University, like what defines students, teachers, Kent State University leadership, departments, and other procedural definitions.
Chapter 2: Organization and Governance
Contains the Kent State University Constitution, the Bylaws of the Board of Trustees, the Faculty Senate Bylaws, as well as other important administrative policy and procedures.
Chapter 3: Teaching, Research and Public Service
Contains administrative policy regarding academic requirements, withdrawing from a course, withdrawing from the university, attendance, cheating and plagiarism, grade point average adjustment, transcripts, nondiscrimination policy, and more.
