Since 1924, the Undergraduate Student Government has served as the representative organization of the undergraduate students of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. In addition to advocating for the student body, USG provides services, programs, and resources to the undergraduate university community.

 USG’s purpose is to provide for the common betterment and general welfare of the undergraduate student body and the university and to ensure meaningful student participation in total university governance. USG is the primary vehicle by which the undergraduate student body provides its input into the university community.
